matters needing attention

When installing the piston ring, pay attention to:

1) The piston ring shall be installed into the cylinder liner, and there shall be certain opening clearance at the interface.

2) The piston ring shall be installed on the piston, and there shall be certain side clearance in the ring groove along the height direction.

3) The chrome plated ring shall be installed in the first pass, and the opening shall not face the vortex pit on the top of the piston.

4) The openings of each piston ring shall not face the piston pin hole when they are staggered by 120 ℃.

5) The conical section piston ring shall be installed with the conical surface upward.

6) Generally, when installing the torsion ring, the chamfer or groove shall be upward; When installing the conical anti twist ring, keep the conical surface upward.

7) When installing the combined ring, install the axial lining ring first, then the flat ring and the wave ring. A flat ring shall be installed on the top and bottom of the corrugated ring, and the openings of each ring shall be staggered.

The main points of diesel generator piston connecting rod assembly are as follows:

1, Press the connecting rod copper sleeve. When installing the copper sleeve of connecting rod, it is better to use a press or vice, and never hit it with a hammer; The oil hole or oil groove on the copper sleeve shall be aligned with the oil hole on the connecting rod to ensure its lubrication

2, Assemble the piston and connecting rod. When assembling pistons and connecting rods, pay attention to their relative positions and directions.

3, Install the piston pin skillfully. The piston pin and the pin hole are interference fit. During installation, put the piston in water or oil and heat it evenly to 90 ℃ ~ 100 ℃. After taking it out, put the pull rod at the proper position between the piston pin seat holes, and then install the piston pin coated with oil into the piston pin hole and the connecting rod copper sleeve according to the established direction

4, Installation of piston ring. When installing piston rings, pay attention to the position and sequence of each ring.

5, Install the connecting rod group.
